Japanese for best, the greatest or finest

Saikou Apparel is Scottish run company directed by Ross and Maizy from a small office in Glasgow. Inspired by their love of Japanese fashion they aimed to bring the world a unique take on East Asian street wear. Creating eyecatching, fun and wearable designs with the quality you would expect at competitive prices.

 

BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN FANDOM AND FASHION 

 We aim to create a fun space which prides itself on accessibility through gender neutrality and sizing equity.  We hope to encourage creatives; giving them a platform and building a community where they can thrive built on tolerance, mental health positivity and inclusivity.  We pride ourselves on our transparency and personally handling everything from design, packing, right through to customer service in house to ensure the greatest customer experience for those who choose to support us.

 

SMALL COMPANY, BIG HEART

Saikou is a family run business with a small dedicated team. We have ingratiated ourselves in local scenes and are passionate about our hobbies and interests particularly Music, Alternate Sports, Anime, Asian Restaurants; and of course gaming!
We plan on releasing ranges to promote our new branding angled at supporting the communities who have continued to support us. We are looking forward to completing our ARCANA range this year and being more active in the convention scene moving into a post-lockdown world.

We hope you are as excited to own some of these products as we are to be producing them. While stock may not last longer than the Sakura blossoms we are confident their beauty will.

Ross has used big companies to distribute merch in the past and was unhappy with the experience. This time he decided he wanted to provide a better service for his fans and ensure everyone involved was treated fairly. By handling all stages of design, using locally sourced printing and hand package every order ourselves we can guarantee that every step from conception to your front door is handled with care and enthusiasm.
